"It must be elegant.." he grinned.

Kaji laughed, "Yes, but I think you should still look like a gentleman. We'll leave the dresses to the ladies." He teased.

Dean glared at him. "Because of that, I will use a red dress."

Kaji made a sour face, "No, don't do that...I'm fairly sure they don't cross-dress at masquerade balls."

"Why not? Nobody would notice, I'm so pretty."

Kaji grinned, "Pretty to me, yes. I have the feeling others wouldn't feel the same, though. Just dress in a suit." They were standing in front of the dark costume shop, now.

"But that red dress..I like it.."

"You can wear it when we go to a cross-dressing party." Kaji said, shaking his head.

Dean sighed. "Never anything fun..ok..let's not go there.."

Kaji frowned, "We still need to get costumes, though."

Dean decided not to pout more. "OK. But I like red. How about that red jacket?"

Kaji smiled, relieved. "Okay. That'll look lovely on you." He glanced around. "What should I wear though.." He muttered.

"There is some black stuff in the corner." Dean shrugged. It was a quite handsome set of a jacket, white shirt and black pants.

Kaji ruffled through the set and chose the jacket and pants, but left the white shirt. "I'd like to be a bit more colorful then that..." He said, searching through the rest of the store.

"Well, good luck." Dean just wandered around.

Kaji managed to find a dark blue shirt that caught his eye. He went back to Dean, smiling. "How's this? And did you find any masks?"

"It looks great." Dean said, glancing at him. "Masks..no..but tell me..why is there dead cats in a store like this?"

Kaji frowned, "What? What are you talking about?" He hadn't noticed any dead cats.

Dean pointed. "There..they even smell bad.."

Kaji looked to where Dean pointed and raised his eyebrows. "That's..not..normal.." He made a slight face, "Not a good omen..."

"Well..let's take the costumes and leave,.."

"Quickly. Very quickly. Although we still need masks." Kaji couldn't seem to take his eyes off of the cats, though.

"I saw them...here!

"Good. Now let's get out of here before something bad happens...Which I have the feeling might happen.." Kaji shifted worriedly.

Dean just nodded and hurried out on the street, carrying the clothes. "I wnder where the slayers went."

"Watching us carefully, I'm sure." Kaji said as he followed Dean out, glancing around him. He saw no one, but he thought that he heard heartbeats. It was difficult to tell, though.

Dean shrugged. "Well, if they have nothing better to do with their time.."

Kaji chuckled, "Dean, that's all they have to do with their time. That's their job."

"Oh..sucks to be them." Dean shrugged.

Kaji shook his head, "How much time left till daylight, would you say?"

"Three hours?" Dean glanced at the sky. "We need a shelter."

"It would be nice to stay somewhere other than an old rotting building.." Kaji mused.

"We could ask the slayers if they want us there today?" Dean laughed.

Kaji grinned, "Yeah, right. I'm sure they'd welcome us with open arms."

"Of course they will..hm..look, a hotel.."

"And now we run into that wonderful little problem of money." Kaji sighed. "I should start stealing the wallets off of my prey.."

"Rob someone then?"

"I'd rather lead that up to you. You saw how good I am at knocking people out. I'm about the same at robbing." Kaji sighed.

Dean frowned. "Why not just bite them untill they faint?

"What, you can fight off vampires and slayers but you can't steal from someone without making them faint?" Kaji said. Truly, he was afraid of not being able to control himself. He had the strange feeling that he wouldn't stop in time.

"..yes?" Dean said as if t was the most natural thing in the world.

Kaji shook his head, "Dean, will you please do it? I...just don't want to right now."

Dean sighed. "Sure, I'll do it." He started to look for a victim.

Kaji leaned against a wall and waited for him, rubbing his forehead. He didn't feel right.

Dean left him and disappeared out of sight. "be right back."

"Okay." Kaji mumbled, shutting his eyes briefly.

Dean found a guy pretty soon and robbed him.

Kaji was at the same spot Dean had left him, still leaning heavily against the wall. He looked like a statue, and hadn't moved at all.

"Are you alright?" Dean asked concerned.

Kaji looked up as if he'd been startled. That was odd, considering how well he could hear. "What? Hm?" He asked, frowning.

"Are you alright?" Dean asked again.

Kaji straightened up. "Yeah..I'm fine.." He still seemed a little dazed.

"Sure? You don't seem ok.."

"It's..nothing, really." Kaji grimaced, but still stood straight.

A woman approached them. She was perhaps seventeen, human and wore a black jacket and jeans. Most people wouldn't notice the knife in her boot.

Kaji focused in on her, although his vision was slightly off. He wasn't sure what was wrong, but something deffinately was. He stayed silent and simply watched her come up. His gold eyes glinted slightly as he saw the knife.

"Vampire." She stated. "You don't kill humans?"

Kaji swallowed and forced himself not to grimace as a wave of what reminded him of nausea swept over him again. "No, I don't kill humans." He said quietly.

She watched him, stepped closer and revealed her neck. "Drink, then."

Kaji frowned and wondered if he had become delusional now as well. "What? Why? Who are you?"

"Just drink. If you're honest, you deserve it." She smiled a bit.

"But how did you find out that I don't kill in the first place?" Kaji was looking at her neck, though, not her face.

"Slayers." She answered calmly.

"Frankly, I'm surprised you believed them." Kaji smiled slightly, but was rewarded by another wave of the strange nausea.

She straightened her head up. "I take it as you're not thirsty. At all. Or am I not good enough?"

"No, no. It's nothing like that." Kaji's eyes widened. "You simply caught me by surprise..If you are sure about this, then come here."

She walked up to him again, allowing him to drink. She was obviously nervous, but that seemed quite natural.

He brushed her hair aside gently and bit down into her neck. He was careful. Almost immediately after the blood rushed into his mouth, though, he felt one-hundred percent better. All traces of the nausea were gone.

Dean just watched them.

The girl flinched, half heartedly tryng to get lose again.

Remembering his promise, he let go after only a few minutes of drinking. He licked his lips and fangs, and backed away.

She was still a bit scared, but relaxed when he let go. "let me come with you."

Although Kaji felt better, he now wondered if he was hearing things. "Eh..what are you talking about?"

"Let me come with you. I dont care where you go, I have nothing to lose. Please, let me come with you." She repeated. She needed protection, but of course she wouldn't say that.

Dean just looked at her, interested.

"It's not solely up to me...And I don't really understand why you want to come with us in the first place.." He frowned, and looked to Dean questioningly.

Dean just shrugged. "If she gets annoying we coul kill her."

"Please, let me come. I'll let you drink from me.."

Kaji laughed, "I don't need to drink from you all the time. But you can join us, I suppose. Would you mind giving us your name first?" He smirked slightly.

"Sarah." She said. "Thank you!" She smiled gratefully. "Anything I can do?"

"Well, Sarah, I can't really think of anything." He smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "How much longer 'till daylight, Dean?"

"I would guess two hours before have to be getting inside." Dean said, looking up at the sky.

Sarah just stood there, glancing around.

"Hmm...By the way, do you know our names?" He blinked, remembering that she hadn't asked.

She nodded. "You're Kaji and he's Dean. Do you have any place to stay tonight? You could stay at my appartment.."

Kaji smiled, genuinely pleased. "That would be wonderful, thank you. We were just wondering where we could stay tonight."

She nodded. "It's my brothers, but he's out of town."

"Sounds good." Kaji smiled again. "Thanks."

"This way then." She started to walk quickly.

Kaji followed along, catching up to her with ease. He was curious about this whole situation.

Dean followed as well and soon they reached an appartment. It looked pretty normal.

"Nice place you have here." Kaji said, politely.

"Thank you, feel like home.." She started to cover the windows.

Kaji sat down on a couch opposite the door, trying not to think about how he was probably getting it dirty with his rather grubby clothes. He hoped she wouldn't mind.

She glanced at him but said nothing. "So..eh...how do you want to sleep?" She said a bit uncertain, not sure if vampires really slept in coffins.

Dean grinned.

Kaji laughed, "Heh, I can sleep on the couch. No need to run out and get me a coffin." He winked.

She laughed a bit embarrassed. "I have an extra bedroom.."

Smiling, Kaji nodded. "A bed would be even better, thank you."

"Well..in here then..." She lead them both into a room with three beds. "Take which you want, I'm sleeping in the room next to here."

"All right. We'll call if we need anything." He grinned to show that he was joking and plopped down on one of the beds.

She smiled a bit nervously and left.

Dean sat down on another bed. "ell, better than a hotel.."

"Much better than a hotel." Kaji lay back, looking up at the ceiling and breathed a sigh of content.

Dean smiled a bit. "She seemed nervous."

"I blame you." He grinned, and rolled over so he could see him.

"Me? Why? I didn't bite her at least..yet.."

"She never asked you to bite her, so don't." Kaji smirked and scooted over. "And I'm still trying to figure out why you picked a separate bed from mine."

Deans grin widened. "It might be too much for her with two gay vampires?"

Kaji chuckled, "And she has to know? There is a door..."

"Should I open it?" Deann grinned evilly.

Kaji smirked, "Now now, she was nice enough to invite us in. We should at least give her the courtesy of keeping what we do private." He propped himself up on one elbow, watching Dean with mischievous eyes.

Dean closed up to him. "Alright..." He smiled.

Kaji smiled back and leaned up, brushing his lips against his softly.

Dean kissed him deeply and started removing their clothes. Some hour later he lied happily beside Kaji.

Kaji was half-asleep, but feeling almost drunk with happiness. He had missed feeling loved. It seemed like forever since they had last done anything like that.

Dean just snuggled close and the sun went up. Not much shone through the windows tho.

Kaji put an arm around Dean and drifted off to sleep, a smile playing on his lips.

Dean woke up just before dusk, sitting up and yawning.

His movement woke Kaji up, who stretched, then kissed Dean on the cheek. "Hello." He said smiling.

"Good evening." Dean smiled.

Kaji yawned, his long fangs flashing slightly. "Well, I suppose we'd better get up...If I didn't have to feed, I'd much rather stay in bed with you though."

"I'm sorry, but you can't feed from me.." Dean grinned.

Kaji chuckled, "Nope, not that I should. It's good for me to get out anyway." He jumped up and off the bed in one movement and then started picking up his clothes and putting them on as he found them.

Dean watched him and gave an appreciating whistle.

The girl was already up, making breakfast in the kitchen.

Kaji had the strong urge to go and smack Dean over the head, but instead just stuck his tongue out at him and walked out the door.

Dean dressed.

The girl jumped when she saw Kaji. "Oh..hi.."

Kaji smiled cheerfully at her, "Hey."

"Do you want anything..?" She was about to to ask if he wanted anything to eat, but changed the question.
